Backend engineering, security compliance, and the hobby projects in between.
Software engineer in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Fifteen years in, mostly backend Java and Python, with the last seven bent toward DevSecOps and NIST 800-53 ATO work for the Department of Defense. I currently lead small teams at SoarTech (an Accelint company) on AI-powered training platforms.
Off the clock, this is also where I write about woodworking, biking the Border-to-Border trail, the Voron build, and a home automation setup that is larger than my wife would like. Take what is useful.
